REP MT

BRAND IDENTITIY SYSTEM
BRAND STRATEGY
ART DIRECTION
I love public land. Who doesn’t? Access to trails boosts the Montana economy and improves quality of life. Public trail systems are one of the most vital assets Montana has and maintaining balanced access is crucial for all who live here.

Right now, access to most trails is open to the whole gamut of recreational activities. Bozeman is one of the last urban places in the west where dirtbikes, mountain bikes, horses, hunters, and hikers all use the same trails. This open access and use has created a passionate outdoor community within each group but poor communication and trail etiquette has also led to extreme tension between the groups.

REP MT is a Montana non profit organization that educates dirt bikers on ways to ride that protect trails and works with state and local governments to maintain balanced and equitable access to the trails.

The icon combines the outline of Montana with the rear sprocket of a dirt bike representing steady power and forward momentum.

The illustration style diverges from the traditional motorsport aesthetic and is more approachable to non-dirtbikers. The tire-track motif serves as a reminder to dirt bikers of how the land and trails are impacted by use.
